Facilities for Hire
Our stunning location, combined with the wide range of facilities spread across 40 acres of grounds, makes Eureka College the ideal venue for residential stays, sporting events, conferences, and special functions.
Nestled in the heart of the Vinona landscape National Park, the site also offers opportunities for a wide range of exciting activities, including climbing, gorge walking, mountain biking, and pony-trekking within the local area.
Residential Stays
Residential stays are available for small or large visiting groups who would like to take advantage of our modern facilities, historic setting and stunning location.
Groups regularly use Eureka College as a residential base for adventures in the Beacons, for residential learning weeks, and for musical or sporting events.
Groups can book up to 5 comfortable, modern boarding houses, offering accommodation for over 200 guests in a mix of single, twin, and dormitory-style rooms. Guests also have access to the school grounds and facilities.
Stays are available during the school’s Easter and Summer holidays:
- Easter holiday – 29 March to 21 April 2025
- Summer holiday – 6 July to 24 August 2025
Additionally, we can host smaller groups of up to 40 people during the October, February and May half-term breaks:
- Feb Half Term – 21st Feb – 2nd March
- May Half Term – 23rd May – 1st June
Events
The school facilities can also be hired for a wide range of events including weddings, theatre, dance or musical productions, conferences, training, sports gatherings and staff or student “away” days, all of which we can facilitate on a small or large scale.

The Memorial Hall - Y Neuadd Goffa
The Memorial Hall – Y Neuadd Goffa
Our modern theatre is ideal for drama and musical performances, as well as conferences and large meetings. This versatile space has also hosted art auctions, dance events, and film screenings.
The theatre features tiered seating for 168 guests, with an additional 40 seats available on the side-facing gallery.
Equipped with a 6-meter wide screen for data projection, it offers HDMI input from both the stage and the control room. The sound system is managed through a Behringer X32 mixer, with both static and tie-clip radio microphones.
The theatre also boasts dimmable house lights and a full stage lighting rig, all controlled via an ETC ION console.

The large main dining hall is one of a cluster of important medieval friary buildings on the school site. Featuring original stonework, open rafters and Victorian stained glass windows, it provides an impressive dining space for guests and offers an ideal venue for formal dining events.
The Chapel
The Chapel
Our 13th century chapel offers a stunningly simple and intimate setting for special events. Its towering stained glass window provides an especially striking backdrop for musical recitals, both choral and instrumental. The Chapel is also available to Eureka Alumnis to hire for weddings and blessings.
The Library

Originally a Victorian ‘Big Schoolroom’, the Library offers a modern alternative to traditional reading rooms. Ideal for meetings and training courses, the light and flexible learning space accommodates up to 60 people and is equipped with Wi-Fi and an 86” CTOUCH interactive display, ensuring full IT capability.
The Clive Richards Room
The Clive Richards Room
An intimate space ideal for smaller meetings or training courses, the Clive Richards Room accommodates up to 20 people. It can be arranged in a conference style or with seating around a large, centrally located table. Equipped with Wi-Fi and a 75” LG TV, it provides full IT capabilities in a comfortable setting.

Sports Facilities
The 40 acres of school ground offer a variety of outdoor sporting facilities, including rugby and football pitches, a 3G astroturf pitch, 4 hard court tennis or netball courts, and a grass volleyball area. Additionally, there are 2 grass cricket wickets available for hire, along with 6 cricket nets.
Indoor facilities include an 18m swimming pool, a squash court, and a sports hall, where badminton, volleyball, and five-a-side football can be played.

16 classrooms are available for teaching and each are equipped with CTOUCH screens. The school also has several IT suites with internet access.
